Engineers Ireland – Building Information Modelling (BIM) – Laser Scan to BIM for Building & Civil Engineering Projects

About the event:

During this evening CPD seminar for both Chartered ICES & ICE Ireland members on the uses of Laser Scan to BIM and BIS, Enda will give a presentation on BIS (Building Information Scanning).

The presentation will highlight the use of laser scanning on existing buildings and the advances in software which allow a building information model (BIM) to be created for buildings in need of modernisation & restoration. The presentation will include examples of buildings where no drawings exist and where upgrading of M&E, facilities management and restoration are required

Niall will present the key advantages of how the implementation of BIM in both vertical building & civil engineering markets dramatically improves project communication, collaboration, cost & time between multidisciplinary team members.
