Leica Geosystems, manufacturer of measuring
and positioning equipment, today announced
that it has added specialist construction
and engineering service and equipment
provider Coastway to its authorised
distribution network for the construction
and civil engineering markets in Ireland.

Based in County
Kildare, Ireland, Coastway have been a supplier
of surveying, engineering and construction
related services in Ireland since 1999. Its
multi-disciplined business approach established
by founding partners Enda Nolan and Mark Hudson
includes the sale, hire and repair of survey
equipment, surveying and setting out services,
recruitment to the engineering, construction
and architectural segment, construction surveying
training, ground penetrating radar, laser
scanning, photography, as well as a number
of other related services. The
authorised distribution contract will allow
Coastway to distribute Leica Geosystems
surveying and construction instrumentation
including scanners, total stations, GPS/GNSS
systems, lasers and levels specifically
to the construction and civil engineering
markets. Coastway will also supply systems
from Leica Geosystems’ sister company
Scanlaser, the dedicated distributor of
Hexagon Machine Control solutions.
